His pod was damaged. Badly. His armour singed, if you can still call it that.. it was completely ruined. very plate was deformed, some had almost melted, even. And he’d still managed to pass out just after crashing. His eyes opened slowly, blinking a few times at the light that greeted him. his visor had a huge crack in it, the whole helmet was dead. His arm came up and pulled it off, a light grunt escaping him. A few bruises had been taken, obviously. But for now.. he needed to get out of this piece of rubbish that used to be his armour.

A good ten minutes later, all the plates had been stuffed into various corners of the drop pod and he was standing outside in his loose trousers and a t-shirt, messy and utterly confused as to where he was.

Well…. time to explore..

He strapped his M6S into it’s holster on his thigh and took his assault rifle from inside the pod. Very little bullets left in there and damaged. Won’t be any use. The rifle was thrown back inside the metal pod before the blonde decided to just.. walk until he’d find somebody.

‘Man, a deer would be fucking awesome right now’, she thought to herself as she quietly made her way through the evergreen forest; crumpled leaves and dirt lightly crunching as she walked. Ellie needed to bring back something to the power plant; whether it was a bird, rabbit, or just something that would feed all those back home. Nifty with a bow and arrow, Ellie decided to rise to the challenge and bring something back. They needed food; and the little canned goods they had only provided so much nourishment.

Determined, Ellie thought she had it. With her arrow in place, the young woman hid behind a large tree whilst aiming at small, grey rabbit. It wouldn’t be much, but it would be a start. Biting down on her lip, Ellie tried to focus; making sure the she could get the rabbit with one, clean hit. Suddenly, however, the rabbit moved onto its hind legs, ears shooting up into the air at the sound of footsteps. Before Ellie could even release the arrow, the rabbit scampered away into the undergrowth.

'Shit’, she thought to herself before stepping out from where she’d been hiding, her bow raised and drawn infront of her. “Who’s there?” She asked, voice raised as green eyes glanced around for signs of movement. “Ya’ better come out.” She demanded; her breath hitched. If it was a lone infected then it wouldn’t be hard. She hoped, however, it was just her imagination and not a stranger; she’d dealt with those before and it did not end well.

A half smile tugged at her lips as the male thanked her once more. Alright, maybe this wasn’t as bad as she thought....

He might not have been completely ‘through’ with this whole thing, but he did feel somewhat relieved that she’d try to...
